Baking it Real is a company started in Plymouth, MN by 3 working moms. They wanted a baking kit that would be concise, easy to follow, and quick for busy parents.
Working with Likewise LLC, we created a word mark and user experience that leads to less mess & more smiles.

Baking iconography
Based on the word mark, I illustrated all of the brand patterns that would be used throughout the year. There’s 4 main patterns (based on each cookie) and specialty patterns for prominent holidays.
I also was tasked with creating the iconography that would be used throughout the system – again, informed by forms in the custom word mark.
Easy to use packaging
Meant for ease of use, the kit also includes snap-packs, pre–measured ingredient bags, and perforated instruction cards.
We also created various stickers and a BIR branded spatula to go in the box as well.
